Selena Kane (electric guitar & sing: she/her) & Zinnia Su (drums & sing: she/her) didn't get around to forming a band together until they'd been a couple for fourteen years already. When they write songs, they try to keep in mind, what would raccoons do. (If raccoons wrote pop music!) The band—Trash Panda Go Kart—is named after their car, sort of. It's hard to explain, but if you've ever driven stick in Seattle (or some other preposterously hilly city), you might understand. Trash Panda Go Kart resides on a forested island in the Pacific Northwest, not too far from Seattle—surrounded by trees, moss, cats, books, ocean, & other things large & small. Human influences include The Breeders, The Velvet Underground, Joan Jett, The Ramones, The Go-Go's, The Rolling Stones, & whatever else crosses their path.
