Hi! Pleased to meet you! My name is Zinnia. I started working as a music booking agent in 2011. My experience in the entertainment industry spans more than 25 years in various capacities including: acting & voiceover for film/TV/commercials, executive assistant and studio administrator for a world-class acting teacher & private coach, several years working at a boutique talent management company for film & TV actors, and a few years working with a renowned & award-winning casting director.
I've also spent over two decades immersed in the healing arts including massage, craniosacral therapy, and energy work in general & I bring this sensibility to everything I do.
I originally started learning about the music business because my wife is a musician & so are many of our friends. I quickly found that I have a knack for the work required to book shows and manage the diverse needs of a working artist. As you might imagine, it is especially gratifying to work with artists I truly adore. Consequently, the ideal Tigers Eye artists are not only those who are creating music & art that I find deeply inspiring but also people with whom I relate well on an interpersonal level. For select artists, I work as both manager and booking agent.
As a booking agent, I do the following:
~ Handle all aspects of show & tour booking for the artist & on the artist's behalf including scheduling, routing, communicating with promoters & venues, fielding inquiries, obtaining offers for & negotiating the terms of each engagement
~ Work directly with the artist & with the other members of the artist's team (management, label, PR, tour manager, etc.) to further the best interests of the artist by offering advice, aid, counsel & guidance to the artist & the rest of the artist's team regarding each particular engagement as well as any other prospects & opportunities as they come up
I earned a Professional Certificate in Accounting from UC San Diego Extended Studies, and I am employed by Washington Filmworks (a private non-profit organization) as Program Transaction Analyst for the motion picture competitiveness funding assistance programs. Thereby I bring financial awareness and experience to my skillset as a booking agent & manager.
From a holistic standpoint, the day-to-day working relationship & level of engagement will vary from artist to artist and evolve over time based on the needs & development of each particular artist and her/his/their career. Transparency & communication are key!

I wish everyone I try to work with was as professional as you, as you have provided so many links etc, it will make my life much easier when putting the event page together.
